Accounting Manager / Controller - Concord, CA

$100,000-$130,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Are you an experienced Accounting Manager or Controller who loves both digging into the numbers and being part of a fun, energetic team? Our client in Concord is looking for a sharp, hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working hard while being part of a close-knit, activity-driven culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role with a respected company that maintains strong relationships across the industry-including Seeno, DBI, and Denova.


What You'll Do

You'll lead core accounting operations and ensure the financial integrity of the business, including:

  • Reviewing and managing contracts
  • Handling collections activity
  • Managing lien release processes
  • Monitoring and reporting on WIP
  • Preparing and analyzing balance sheet & income statement
  • Managing aging reports
  • Overseeing payroll for 150 employees (separate from payroll staff responsibilities)
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams

Foundation Software experience is a plus, but not required.


Schedule

  • Flexible start time - as early as 7:00 AM if preferred
